Hello I’m sure most customer service messages are negative but I’d like to go against the norm! My daughter and I were shopping on a very busy Saturday in the Oxford Street store and received the best service imaginable from the gentleman who was managing the floor and our assistant Hayley. We tried on many many pairs and their kind attention was faultless. We bought 3 pairs! Thanks to all the team making our visit so pleasurable.

I was in your store in Oxford Street this afternoon after a long day shopping. I was served by Tim who apologised for the delay as he was busy with another customer. I purchased a pair of shoes and there was another delay to pay as the cashier was dealing with a telephone enquiry. But this is not a complaint! I just wanted to say that we had some of the best service that we'd had all day. It makes such a difference when staff keep the customer informed of any wait etc and Tim was very friendly and polite and found time to chat with my partner and I. The cashier was also friendly and apologised for the wait. My partner also looked in the men's department, all the staff we came across were friendly and helpful. So thank you to all the staff at Schuh, Oxford Street. They really do make a difference.

I came into your oxford street store on friday at about 2pm and was so blown away by the customer service that I had to get in touch to let you know. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get the name of the guy that served me but he was about 20 years old, had longish light brown/blonde hair and had pale skin. he was so friendly and nice and helpful and was a pleasure to talk to. The girl at the till point was also delightful and the guy at the door was really nice when I left I bought a pair of the house of holland superga trainers - if that helps find out who served me thankyou for my brilliant shoe shopping experience Lucy Delane

For about 3 weeks I have been trying to get white Converse hi-tops for my daughter's 16th birthday next week. Your telephone helpdesk, live chat staff and staff in Oxford Street bent over backwards to try and get a pair in time for me to go to London from Reading to get them cutomised yesterday before the customisation offer finished today. Through everyone's efforts (particularly Le in the store), it looks like the customised hi-tops will be posted back to me today to arrive in time for Chloe's birthday. This has saved me the cost of getting the train back to London to fetch them. All your staff have been absolutely fantastic and I'm sure I must have driven everyone nuts. Le called me back regularly with updates and Nicole (Oxford St) managed to reverse the on-line order because the store delivery turned out to be quicker. You've all been great.

I recently purchased some new trainers from your store on Oxford Street. As soon as I walked into the Men's section there were very helpful staff checking if I wanted anything, but not in the normal, forced way they were friendly, talkative and genuinely interested in helping me. I ended up trying on a few different types of shoe and bought one pair which I might not have done had it not been for the really good standard of customer service. I'll def buy from there again, so I thought I should mention how good the people there were because they deserve some credit and are doing a good job for your store's reputation.

I was completly pleased with the customer service, and Jennie - the team member who served me - was outstanding the whole time while i was trying no less than 6-7 pairs of shoes. She was very helpful, polite, smiley, started a conversation, when she had to leave as it was busy she always let me know who can help me while she is not with me. She is superoutstanding. Excellent and quick service. The only reason I wouldn't give a five star rating is that I was asked by 4 different members of staff within the space of about 2 minutes if I needed help, which i found a bit annoying. Apart from that though, it was fantastic!

Hi there, My boyfriend and I were looking for shoes on Wednesday 3rd of October at the Oxford Circus store. We were in the Men's department looking at adidas shoes and came across a very helpful sales assistant Kevin. We were very impressed by how helpful he was in recommending shoes, quickly bringing them to us and answering any questions we had. I've lived in London for a while and have never received such good and dedicated service from a sales assistant in a store before! Dear Sirs, Please can you pass on my praise to the management and staff at your Oxford Circus branch. I was in the store late last night (25/09/12), and the staff were friendly, polite, smiley, and extremely helpful. I witnessed this with all members of your team, and with assisting other customers. I work in hospitality, and I must say that this is the best service that I have ever had in a shop. The staff were sincere, not 'putting on the smile' for my benefit. I hadn't been to Schuh in years, but due to the service received, I will definitely shop there more often. I have already told my team of my experience last night too. FYI, James greeted me on arrival - very helpful. Then the lady that served me (I didn't see her name - but I'm sure you can obtain it from my order number), she was very helpful and friendly. When you didn't have my size in the boots that I wanted, she brought up a different colour in the size I needed, so I could try it out for size, then ordered it for me and explained your 1 year returns policy - amazing! I won't need it though. :-) I'm expecting my boots within 3 days. A very satisfied customer (I do hope your staff learn of this feedback). Amie Conway

Amazing customer service in a very busy environment. The 2 employees who helped us were not only patient but extremely polite as well.They also were very well informed about the shoes i asked for and, if they didnt know something they immediately asked for details from somebody else and informed us immediately.We appreciated this alot because they helped us choose in the best way they could. I would like to compliment Schuh on their service at their Oxford Street store. I had to take back a pair of boots as they were faulty. The way in which the staff dealt with this was exemplary. In particular I would like to thank the young lady who served me, "Liz". She has a wonderful manner and gives a fantastic service with a smile. Just what customers need at the end of a long working day. The manageress was also very helpful and pleasant. Not only that, I didn't take the boots into the store until about 8.00pm on the Tuesday evening, and by Thursday morning a replacement pair had been delivered. I had the boots reserved online and went into the store to try them on. The lady (didn't get her name) who greeted me at the door was friendly and helpful when I explained that I had reserved some boots. She passed me onto a server called Remi who got my shoes quickly and was helpful, friendly, and chatty. My cashier Jenni was also very friendly. They were knowledgable about the boots and how to take care of them. I had been wandering all over Oxford Street by that time and the efficiency and friendly attitude of your staff was really refreshing! I hope you pay them well! They deserve it :-)

Having never shopped in a Schuh before I have to say my first visit was great. I walked into the stop and was greeted by a girl who explained that Men's shoes are downstairs. I went downstairs and the atmosphere was vibrant but not annoyingly busy. Stock was clear and well laid out, there was plenty of range. Whilst browsing, two members of staff approached me on separate occasions and were friendly yet not too pushy. After finding something I liked I asked a member of staff (Mark) for some help, He was courteous, offered advice on sizing, explained ways to wear the shoe, which styles were popular and was quick when fetching items from the stockroom. Despite there being a fair few customers in the shop (given it was Friday lunchtime on Oxford Street) there were plenty of staff available and no queuing involved. All in all, a great experience and I will certainly be going back.

I was served at your Ofxord street store with friendlyness and enthusiasm. When I returned the shoes because they didn't suit my feet the manager was very reasonable to let me exchange them on the spot and now I have a comfy pair of shoes to wear! As I don't buy shoes often the good service and exchange really made a difference - especially in that you have such a busy shop. Many thanks to the staff.

Wow... never shopped with you before and all i can say is.. it was one of the most pleasant shopping experiences ive had in years! customer service was so polite, so helpful and nothing was a problem. when my size asnt in stock the thought of returning to the store horrified me as i live in north west london and its a fair trek to get into town. the amazing girl that served me ( cant remember her name but her ID is 514) offered to order them for me, and get them delivered to my home address by Monday - for no extra cost! They arrived on Friday ( ordered on thursday) meant to arrive Monday. Wow... seriously impressed and happy with the service, the girl in the store was great, and the overall experience was one i will recommend. Chris Charalambous

Good selection, reasonable prices and GREAT service! My wife ended up buying two pairs of shoes when initially only going in to browse, in no small way thanks to the friendly assistant. (Very sorry I can't remember her name to thanl her specifically. I was so impressed that when I decided to buy a pair of Hunter wellington boots later that same weekend, I went back to Schuh on Oxford St. straightaway. Again the service was excellent, (Thanks, Marcus) both friendly and efficient. We will be returning next time we're in London!

It's been a little while since I made my purchase with Rosie at Schuh in Oxford street but I found my old receipt and I had to write some feedback. Rosie was very helpful and polite, she could see immediately that queue was getting full and as she could see we were next he asked us if we were paying by card and took us to the other service till. Given the atmosphere and busy time she did a good Job at lifting my mood. She was very understanding and friendly I even had a nice chat with her , she made the transaction in no time as well as sincerely apologising for the wait. She got me out of the store in no time and was very considerate, so I just had to take her name for this feedback

My recent Schuh-experience began with a visit to your web site. I found several pairs I was interested in and went to visit the Oxford Street branch. I'd been there a couple of times before and knew that I'd get great service. The greeting was friendly and I was passed on to a sales assistant who was very friendly and helpful. One of the pairs of shoes I was interested in (New Balance Minimus t10) were not in stock in my size and so I arranged for them to be delivered. As it happens when they arrived they were too small. I took them back to Oxford Street to return them and hopefully try the next size up. These turned out to be a perfect fit. In fact they felt so good that I wanted to buy a couple more pairs (I've found that a shoe that feels this good is a rare find). The assistant helpfully checked stock levels at other stores and found a couple of other pairs. He said he couldn't order them for me himself but I could contact customer services who should be able to help (it was going to be a complex order with two pairs coming from two different stores, rather than from the central depot). I duly spoke to customer services who handled my request beautifully: the person I spoke to initially (Kylie) did a superb handover to her colleague who called me back later that day and soon my order was on its way. I regret not making a note of any names of the staff involved (aside from Kylie) but hopefully with these order numbers you can track down the people involved and give them the pat on the back they deserve: 047052080278 87252603

A very positive experience. I initially went into the Brent Cross store where they arranged to put a pair of shoes on hold for me at Oxford Street. In both stores the staff were helpful and very attentive. They also appeared to have a good knowledge of the product-range, understand variations in sizes in different brands and styles and also the company ordering systems. I have never shopped in Schuh before and expected it to be like other high street chains where staff are too busy chatting to each other to help the customer and almost resentful to help. But I was pleasantly surprised by the professional attitude and attention to detail. So much so that I wanted to let you. Please keep it going!

Despite it being very busy I was actually approached by a member of staff and was asked if I needed help, he got another member of staff to get the shoes for my little brother, she went to the back and got the shoes in the right size and was quick. She was also very polite and helped my brother with the laces. I didn't have to queue long either, and the blonde girl behind the till was polite and a credit to the store. Despite it being so busy I felt the staff were managing well and were excellent. I will definitely be using again.

Not often I leave a feedback but on this occassion it is a must to share. Since the moment I place my last order I was kept up to date about everything that was happening with my shoes to the point of 'delivered'. Rushing home to put my lovely shoes on and auch .... should have got one size bigger. So I read all of the emails to see what to do now and guess what I discovered I could literally take the shoes to one of the local shops and the rest will be taken care of. How impressive is that ? However I decided to take the shoes to your Oxford street in the evening hours last night and I faced another joy. I was looked after so well, no long tired faces, everyone seemed to know what to do and HOW to do it (!!!) all seems to have a good structure and organization. I was dealt with by two of your assistants who were very pleasant and happy to help, in fact all the staff were like these two. And as I just put my new shoes on and am loving them I through it would only be fair to sit down and write you my feedback to you, to give you something happy back from me. Yes my feedback is a very happy one, I will certainly be back for more. Please keep going what you do because you are good at it. Well done to you all be proud of what you do !!!

First time shopping on Oxford street, wasn't really expect to have a good selection of trainers for me as I'm size 13 but there was a good selection at the store there was a a nice girl greeting customers and even though I had my music on full blast could see she was pointing me in the right direction went down to be greeted again by a floor manager and was expecting the service I got for London it was personalised as I tell him my predicament after chosing the trainers passed on to dannielle who was fantastic and impressed with her customer service and Kevin finished the transaction and for Oxford street having that great level of service was remarkable considering some of the stores you have I had a great customer experience thank you. I cannot remember the date or my order number, but there is a sales advisor by the name of Emma (dark hair) who is an absolute asset to your company. She went that extra mile to ensure we got the goods we needed, this included, a search of the stock room as we were missing 1 foot of the desired shoe and reserving at another store. Although very busy at the time she was polite, very helpful and professional. I believe she deserves recognition, having worked in customer service myself I can safely say she is a star!

Every visit to Schuh is the same, I have always been suprised at the high level of customer service from everyone compared to other Oxford Street shops. Evening of Friday 1st February 2013 Absolutely fantastic experience, all staff were very helpful, the first member of staff I met was I think the Manager, she was extremley helpful, I was looking for some shoes to match a "mother of the Bride outfit" and she explained the returns policy (which in it's self is amazing). She kept the shoes behind the till whilst I went to a cashpoint, on return a further member of staff served me with a very pleasant attitude. Unfortunately I did have to return the shoes the following day as they didn't match my outfit and again I was treated extremely well. Having had a poor customer service experience in a previous shop it was refreshing to be served by lovely friendly and helpful staff,full credit to them. I will be shopping in your store again and have passed on the positive experience. Well done!

I love shopping, and it's extremely rare that I have such a fun and friendly experience! When I came to pay, the service assistant there was equally helpful. Excellent service received! We were welcomed by a person the moment we walked down the stairs, we were then acknowledged by Will who politely advised us if we needed any help to let him know.. After looking around my husband & I asked Will his opinion on what was selling well, he was very helpful & made us feel very welcome & important. Once decided on what to try on Liu brought out the footwear & immediately built a rapport with us engaging in conversation & showing a genuine interest in us, Will also popped back to see how we were getting on & demonstrated how to use a cream that would keep one of the shoes we were interested in looking good. Usually my husband & I would be keen to shop around first & compare prices & styles but the service received exceeded my expectations & we purchased 2 pairs there & then. Although we were only visiting for the weekend from Nottingham I would definitely recommend this store & those members of staff to friends & family as they went that extra mile to ensure we left happy! Start from entering the store - acknowledged with a warm greeting and a nice smile from the pretty lady standing at frong. As i walked around the store,looking for some comfortable black flat shoes for work, i found the shoe brand - Blowfish that i always go for and also wanted to try on a pair of shoes to try on from the brand "Rocketdog". I looked for an available staff to get size 4's and found Bola. She was very friendly, and went to search for my size 4's. She came back and thanked me for waiting. She was very attentive and asked a few questions showing interest in my needs. I told Bola i was looking for comfortable shoes for work and said she highly recommended Blowfish and Rocketdog for comfortability. I could tell she knows the type of brands in the store as i regularly buy Blowfish shoes for the comfortability feature. Bola regularly checked if everything was okay for me such as if shoes fitted well. As these shoes were comfortable to wear I decided to buy the shoes and Bola clearly explained the one year return policy and then took me to the pay desk where i had a nice handover and was served straight away by Marcus, again greeted with a warm smile and asked if i found what i was looking for today. Again attentive to my needs, and very friendly. Overall a excellent experience from this store, and it is always a pleasure to go and buy my shoes there without any complaints. But today's experience was so far one of the best i have experienced from Schuh by the two named above staff and they deserve praises once in awhile for their hard work!

A great experience. My shoes are lovely, a quality product for a reasonable price. About the service: even on Good Friday, in a very busy moment I felt at home, I've been helped by Mary and Annie and as skeptical costumer as I am I was surprise how they both were full of energy, totally focus on me making me feel confortable and welcome. Big up for Mary, Annie, Schuh and my new shoes of course!

Excellent service all around. This is the second time I have bought shoes at this store and both times the service was great. This is quickly becoming my 'go to' store for shoes.

I expected the shop to be packed on Good Friday and for staff to be rushed off their feet and too busy to help. It was packed, but all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be there and help. I was impressed by how cheery everyone was on such a busy day.

I went to the 200 Oxford St store in the school holidays to buy my 9 yr old some trainers. I was very impressed that despite the store being full of customers, I was offered help as soon as we entered, by way of directing me to the right part of the store,andthen within a very few minutes, to get the shoes we wanted to try on. We were able to buy something suitable within 15-20 minutes, including trying a few alternatives. I do miss the trained staff who measure your child'sfeet and give advice on fitting, but otherwise this was a pleasant transaction.

During a short visit in London I was out to get Converse shoes for my friend. Schuh was the third shop I tried, as noone had a size 38, only 37,5 or 39. Even though I had snuck in after closing time, Luke was nothing but nice and gave me good service in the store. And then Amal really saved the day at the register, by explaining to me how the UK to European conversions aren't exactly right, so after I paid for the 6 she gave me a 5. In short: THANKS!

Walked in to the Oxford street store, to get some new shoes for sis, but she also bought some Tom's for her little son, and the member staff who helped us was really helpful and friendly :) (unfortunately didn't get him name, he had tattooes and some piercings) so if you could just say thanks to him for making our shopping experience great :) that would be good

Great service from Tim and Dave, also from My-Charly who was very engaging and apologised for me waiting (which wasn't long at all) she was awesome. Be great if you did a wider range of Dr Martens. I came into your Oxford Street branch a few weeks ago to buy some new shoes. It was a bit daunting as the shop was so busy. I browsed and found the most amazing pair of DC's which were on sale. (Lucky Me!) I picked up the shoe and said to my boyfriend 'hmm... I wonder if they'll have my size?' Just as I said that a gentleman came to me and asked if he could check for my size, you had it! Fantastic! He kindly asked me to take a seat and said Emily would be over shortly. Emily was over quickly and used my name as reference. She was a great help and changed the laces for me how i wanted them. All in all, I had an awesome experience buying my new beautiful shoes and will most definitely be returning to your shops to buy shoes in the future. Thank you to the amazing members of the team at the Oxford Street branch. Hopefully I will be back soon :)

the shoes I wanted to try on and possibly buy were not available. Staff on shop floor and at the till were helpful in providing me details of the shoe (a receipt) and of my options for ordering and return, if required. I would have preferred a little bit more knowledge about the supplier, availability of half sizes, whether or not the shoes would stretch on wearing, and obviously that the shoes were there for me to try and decide on the day! Other than that it was a good visit.

Excellent customer service! I was greeted as I entered the store. I believe it was the manager who initially served me, who then passed me onto his colleague who went and got my boots to try on. Didn't have my size however they explained I could order them to my house or the store and in addition explained the returns policy, all extremely helpful. Then served at the till by a really helpful guy, apologised for the queue and asked how my day was. Overall excellent experience!

I only returned the shoes because of the price but the service will make me come back next time I'm in the country.

To be honest the service right from the Top (Manager) to the bottom (sales Assistant) was extremely FANTASTIC!!!! We were given a discount on the last pair of black sandles as there was a scuff on both heals... then to be told i could still return them after a year, if not worn to get a full refund... How wicked is that !!!! At the till point a few mishaps but it was all good as the assistant Xt-pierce and the cashier My-Nicole were GREAT. They couldn't do enough for my daughter and me. Even on leaving the store, we were greeted by a sale assistant wishing us a save journey and thanking us. So the services overall was Top Class. I would definately shop in that branch again and definately recommend that branch to all my friends and family... Well Done Oxford Street Branch....

I went to the store on Oxford Street for the very first time and I have to say the customer service received was the best I have ever received in any store! The staff were smiling, friendly and really helpful and made my shopping experience really enjoyable. I purchased a pair of Fred Perry shoes which were fantastic and I left feeling really happy due to my new pair of shoes and the warm and friendly atmosphere in the store. Will definitely put this on my shops to visit list whenever I am on Oxford Street!

I don't know what you've been feeding staff in the Oxford St store, but it worked. They are attentive, friendly and on the ball. Best in-store service I've had in London in a long time, even when I changed my mind and brought the shoes back.

My daughter and I received very good service. Although it was the start of the January sales, we were approached promptly, and offered help, and we requested our size. There were plenty of staff on duty, unlike in some other stores. A young man was overseeing the fetching of shoes. He delegated our request. Another member of staff then confirmed to us that he was responsible for fetching our shoes and that it was all in hand. The size came promptly. They were too small. The next size was brought promptly. We joined a queue to pay which was a little bit long. A young lady came down the line asking was anyone paying by card. We were and she took us away and "fast-tracked" us at another paypoint in the corner. She suggested that we might be entitled to a student discount and in fact we were. So she saved us £4.80. All in all, we were dealt with by three different young people, all of whom were smiley and helpful. We were very impressed! This was the Oxford Street branch. Iy says on our receipt that we were served by Kai, assistant number 576 but I don't know if that is accurate. It was a young lady with a big smile and longish hair.

I was served by Gold and then Annie at the till. the store was extremely busy but i was served within minutes, Gold was very attentive and showed no frustration at having to go back numerous times to get different sizes. Annie was very cheerful and just generally lovely. very impressed however the store is just to cramped and crammed. staff were excellent
